What is Canada?

Canada is a North American country consisting of ten provinces and three territories.  Canada is the world's second largest country in terms of geography.  Canada is a federal state and a parliamentary democracy with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state.  Canada is officially bilingual at the federal level, and it is very multicultural.  Canada's population is about 35 million. 

Canada's economy is one of the largest in the world,  relying mostly upon its abundant natural resources and established trade relationships, especially with the United States. 

Canada is a developed country.
